Looking at what’s happening in the market now, short-term rents for similar places nearby go from RM80 to RM250 a night, while long-term rentals yield about 4-6%. These numbers hint at a good chance to make some extra cash if the property can keep a steady flow of renters, especially tourists, working folks, or expats. But I’d be careful not to expect too much, given it’s not right in the city center.
